National and State Park Concessions (NSPC) is a small, family-run operation. I, Jack Bobo Jr., am president. My three children help with the company according to their particular talents. My daughter Nichole is our resident writer. My eldest son, Jack, helps with general operations management. My youngest son, Daniel, helps with the financial aspects of our operation. Even our websites are designed by family members.
We came out to California and the El Portal Market because the majestic beauty of humbling mountains of Yosemite and the towering colossus of the redwoods of Muir Woods inspired us. We were intrigued by the local food movement, so similar to our efforts in Tennessee, but taken to an entirely new level with its ethnic influences and its abundance of readily-available produce.
As you might be able to tell, family and community are important to us. We look forward to getting to know our new family, both our employees and the community living around us. We also look forward to greeting our visitors from all around the world with a unique, anthropological point of view of Californian culture.
We have so much planned for the market over the next few years, increasing amenities while still keeping the history and character of the market in mind. We are so excited to share these details with you on our Facebook page and this website as they become available. In the meantime, you can visit our Company Page to learn more about us, or you can view our other locations below.
